I AM OFFENDED!

Proverbs 18:19 NASB:

 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a citadel.

I am getting really disgusted with the fact that everywhere I turn someone is trying to infiltrate my personal beliefs with their ungodly agendas! I mean I recently have been seeing commercials for products that should have no other agenda but tell me about what they want me to buy, and they have an unusual assortment of gender confused people in the ad! I grew up with ads that reflected the times and know that the ads do need to reflect the people that they are selling too, but, I think that the race of the people, the nationality of the people and the age of the people should be enough. Leave this gender dysphoria out of it! That does not align with my values and makes me take that product right off my list of items to purchase. I am offended!

Television shows are no different! I have enjoyed a particular show for years. This year there is a gay couple on the show, and everyone in the show accepts this as normal. There is nothing normal about 2 men or 2 women presenting themselves as a normal couple in our society. I am offended! God tells us it is an abomination! Sodom and Gomorrah was His response.

Now we find Disney is getting in on the bandwagon. Think of it, Disney, advertised as the happiest place on earth will be adding LGBTQ etc. actors to their repertoire of characters. Not in a general way, but in a very specific and targeted way! Why? It has become their ideology! It will no longer be the happiest place on earth as the people with gender confusion have a higher rate of suicides than the ‘straight’ population. Disney does not seem to care that their visitors are not all in favor of these changes, they will forge ahead anyway and we will accept them-or not patronize Disney. I for one will not patronize them any longer. I am offended!

I am taking notes about the products that advertise with these ‘different’ genders as well as the television shows that feel they must add someone of a confused gender. Even to the extreme of having children dressing or looking like the opposite gender and the parents accepting it, rather than talking them down from that cliff! If I can locate a person responsible and an address, I would like to write and tell them: I am offended!

Of course, we love them as people, treat them with due respect and even establish relationship with them as we come into contact in various situations. I just do not believe that when I want to be entertained or enlightened with a television program, that I should have to be accepting of the producers perverted thoughts about gender. Especially when there is a gag order on anything that reflects my values and spiritual beliefs! It is baffling that we as believers will often accept these perversions and sit on our hands and close our mouths when we get shushed about our beliefs. More recently I am glad to see there are stations and platforms in social media that do reflect our values. Are we watching them?

Well, as long as I am venting, I am also offended by advertisements for; male enhancement drugs, women’s feminine products, and a variety of personal hygiene products that used to be only advertised in the store. Might be just my opinion, but usually if you need those products, you go to the store and find them without it glaring on the TV with cute little puns, bears and other nonsense between the show you are watching. I am offended!

Bad enough when we can turn it off but what about our children going to school? They are being taught (in some districts) that if they are white-they are a racist. If they are conservative-they are foolish. If they ascribe to the gender God gave them at birth-they are narrow minded. If they believe that all lives matter, even those inside their mom, and not only black ones already born, they are told that their belief is taking away a freedom of choice. Hey, look at how our ‘choices’ to serve God and country, protect the unborn, speak our mind on social media, even our choice to be vaccinated, have been trampled on in the name of ‘progressive’ democratic socialism. Yes, I am offended!

Previously in this blog I talked about how these types of things demoralize and break down our barriers so that a new thought process and be established by those who want to cause havoc in our system and country. Our first response is awareness, then push back before we get any further in the ditch called ‘regret’.
