I know a Movie Actor from ‘The Chosen’!

I would like to share another opportunity for you to go see a great movie! I have been so inspired by this series; I hope you will be also. Remember the ‘Biblical’ movies of old that were technically not up to par? Well, that is no longer the case! The son of one of the authors of the book series, “Left Behind” (Jerry Jenkins) is the writer of this series. “The Chosen”. Dallas Jenkins, his wife Amanda, and a plethora of others have made this series a new phenomenon!

The series in now in season 3 and is finishing the last 2 episodes of the series-in the theater on the big screen. That’s what I want to tell you about! It will still be in local theaters until Monday. I highly recommend going to experience it. Especially since the theater people need to know that conservative Christian people want to have the opportunity to go see good uplifting films that will not be offensive to our eyes or ears! It is not really an action film, but you will be glued to your seat wondering what will happen next!

This entire production is ‘crowd funded’ meaning there is no large movie production company footing the bill. It’s paid for by the people like you and me that want to see more of the Bible on the big screen.

In this film you will actually see how the feeding of the 5,000 probably happened. You will meet real people with real emotions and dilemmas that you probably never thought about in that way before. They will inspire you to get back into the Bible and find out how ‘that’ happened.

You will see the humanness of Simon Peter. You will also see and feel life as a person living in the first century. The Romans, the Jews, the Sadducees and even the Pharisees will show glimpses of their humanity as they interact with Jesus-and are changed!

I don’t want to give away too much here, but you will see miracles, heart changes, marriage change, and even the beginnings of the betrayal of Jesus! Even King David has an appearance. Okay, that’s enough! I implore you just go see it! It will change the way you look at the Bible people-for the good!
