Synergy

Esther 4:15

Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go gather all the Jews who are in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days , night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

Synergy…that’s an interesting word if I ever heard one. According to Webster synergy is ‘combined action or operation’. Maybe a better explanation would be the old saying; ‘the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts’. An example would be when a couple people get together to move that heavy piece of furniture out of your mom’s apartment. The sum of their strength was able to do the work of more than just the two people doing the moving. That’s synergy!

In God’s economy synergy is the stuff that moves mountains. It calms storms, heals wounds, opens blind eyes and dead ears. It opens prison cells and even raises the dead! I want that power, don’t you?

Fortunately for us, we are told in Romans 8:11 that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us! What? WE have the power to raise the dead? The Bible also says; where two are gathered in my name, I am in the middle of them…synergy!

So, some studies have been done where the tangible, yet inanimate objects we have all around us have the capability of ‘holding sounds’ in the form of band widths (remember God says the stones would cry out His praises if we didn’t?). Since we don’t know all there is to know about science, we cannot discount this theory. Remember when (I’m being facetious) we did not know that sounds traveled over air waves? Then someone discovered that they did, and invented Morse Code to be able to communicate much faster than the carrier dove of Noah’s day. Then wider widths were found, and we had AM radio. Wider, and FM radio. Even wider and television and it went on and on as amazing things were were discovered. They were ALWAYS there. God created them. It took the human mind a few thousand years to locate them.

In a recent blog by one of my favorite contemporary speaker/prophets, Dutch Sheets, he talks about the synergy of our prayers. Since 2021 he has been praying for a particular Bible Institute. He heard the Lord tell him, as he was praying, “I need for you to agree in prayer with a man who had died 30 years earlier”. He questioned the Lord asking if he heard God correctly since the man was dead. God responded, “well, his prayers aren’t dead!” That gives me hope!

The prayers that have gone up for this nation from the brave Pilgrim’s to every generation in this nation over the last 240 plus years, are being aligned with our prayers to create a ‘synergy’ that I believe the enemy has no power to defeat! So, pray! Pray when you see the American flag- and when you don’t. Pray when you have access to a plethora of choices in the stores-and when you don’t. Pray when we are facing an election-and when we are not. In other words…PRAY!

Here are the Seven Mountains of Influence we are facing right now. WE have the power God gave us to ‘pray and that mountain will be removed and tossed into the sea’. Do you believe this?

1. Government I Timothy 2:1-3 Pray for the people in authority.
2. Media Pray for the truth in our media.
3. Arts and Entertainment Have you noticed more faith based films are being shown in theaters? I believe prayers are being answered. As we attend these events, more will be made as it begins to be a profitable venture for film makers.
4. Business Our free market system was given to us by God, enabling us to grow a healthy economy and build personal wealth. We need Kingdom minded leaders at the helms. Those that will provide us with goods we need at a fair price and portray Godly principles in their business. Example: Chick-fil-A
5. Education This is a very easy avenue for satan to enter into to get to our children and their impressionable minds. I believe with the children being home during the ‘pandemic’ parents saw clearly what the educational system is trying to do. Hopefully the parents will stay engaged and push back on a government and school system that believes THEY, not the parents, are responsible for their child’s education. Pray that PRAYER, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS will return to our classrooms.
6. Religion Our nation needs JESUS! I believe that when the government shut down churches during the covid crisis-it was an overreach! We the people must push back and not cow-tow to a government that has forgotten who is managing whom!
7. Family This may be the area that is under the most assault! It has been said by past dictators that when you capture the mind of a child, you can capture the world. From promiscuity, fatherless homes, gay and trans adoptions, and abortion, our Biblical God ordained family is being assaulted from every side! The fact is that they make up a small minority, but their voices are so loud that they act like the majority! WE NEED TO MAKE OUR VOICES EVEN LOUDER TOGETHER IN PRAYER!
8. Please keep this 7 mountains of influence at the top of your prayer list for America. Think of all the patriots who have gone before us, many giving up their lives for this Freedom we take for granted. Remember, their prayers are still sitting with God, even though they are long gone. Allow our prayers to join the synergy with theirs as we believe this nation will become ‘One Nation Under God’ again! Earn what we have already received so our grandchildren may still grow up FREE!
