II Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by My name, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven , will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Just because I spent two blogs outlining what is happening in our country that has been directed by satan, and just because it appears our nation has begun sliding on a slippery slope into the depts of depravity, it does NOT mean that all is lost for this nation! I want to encourage you with some hopeful thoughts we can all count on!
First, God is still on the throne and in control. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. (James 1:17) I expect to receive good and perfect gifts from Him.
There has been a grass roots movement of prayer for this nation that goes on 24/7 called ‘International House Of Prayer’, in Kansas City Missouri. There are 12 full time Intercessory Prayer Missionaries that spend their ‘work day’ in prayer for all of us. I find that very humbling. I have a friend who is a missionary there. Just like most missionaries, she must raise her own support for her living expenses. If you can support her in any way, contact me and I will give you her address.
Another Prayer Ministry is ‘Give Him 15’. Dutch Sheets is the founder of this daily blog found at the site with the same title. Dutch encourages people to ‘paint their state’ with anointing oil and prayer taking back the Biblical roots and standards that this nation was founded upon. He recommends driving around the borders of your state, city, county or borough and anoint those borders with oil, reclaiming them for God. Thousands of people are actually making this pilgrimage around the parameters. Since it appears the enemy seems to have done this for HIS perversions, I believe it it a wise thing to physically get out there and take our borders back out of the slippery grip of the evil prince! It seems like a daunting task, still many people are doing it! If you cannot, I believe a map of the country, praying and anointing will serve the same purpose…just do it!
Other programs that are doing a good job proclaiming the good news of the gospel while keeping us informed of the times are; ‘Flashpoint’, (on YouTube) , Kirk Cameron, ‘Takeaways’, (TBN), Sheila Walsh, ‘My First Trip to Israel’, just to name a few. So many more programs to keep us informed and uplifted are on TBN channel. Christ has given us His scepter of authority authorizing us, the blood bought Bride of Christ to take the authority over satan and his schemes. No new tricks there, only old, reconstituted lies that we can stop from manifesting-if we choose to do so.
When we decree God’s plans for America, we are painting with His purposes! We are cutting off satan’s plans and participating in the synergy of the ages. We are tapping into our Christian history of the past, and writing the Christian history of our future! Here are some quotes from ‘America’s Foreword’.
Peter Bulkeley, a Puritan leader who established the city of Concord, Massachusetts stated:
“We are a city set upon a hill, in the open view of all the earth…We profess ourselves to be a people in covenant with God and therefore…the Lord our God will cry shame upon us if we walk contrary to the covenant which we have promised to walk in…”
Our original law and constitutions were based on the scriptures. We need to claim them back from satan who stole them while we were sleeping.
Just 1 year before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Jonathon Trumbull, Governor of the Connecticut colony, proclaimed a day of fasting and prayer asking; “that God would graciously pour out His Holy Spirit and bring us to repentance and effectual reformation”
And of course, our Declaration of Independence. The last line leaves no doubt that the Founding Father’s placed their faith in God, and they gained their strength from Him!
“And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor.”
And, many of them did loose their fortunes-and their lives! No my friends, this United States of America is not washed up…God is in the washing business! He will bring us back to repentance and His heart to proclaim the Gospel of the Good News of Christ to the world once again! How? WE must; Humble ourselves, PRAY, Seek God, REPENT! We can count on Him to do the rest!
