Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
I don’t think any of us have not felt the decline in morality in USA! This nation needs God! This may be our last opportunity to really take advantage of the ONE advantage we do all have to make a difference in the lives of those around us…A COMMITMENT TO PRAYER!
The news is proclaiming the horrors that are being imposed on the Israeli’s…just because they are Jews. This is just the last atrocity in the list that we see every day in our own country. There is NO reason for us to believe that if any terror group decides WE are the ones they want to eliminate-that horror might just reach our shores-again! So, pray while you still can. Memorize scripture while you still can!!
In our church bulletin one of the fifty states in these United States will be featured for prayer. each week. I am asking you who read this blog to take on this ‘mantle’ and pray daily for the state I have featured here for the week. A concentrated and consistent effort for prayer is called for now.

Some information about Maryland. Maryland was named after Queen Henrietta Maria of England. She was the 7th state brought into the Union in April of 1788. Her Motto is “Manly Deeds, Womanly Words”. Her familiar name, or nickname is ‘The Old-Line State.’
Two modern day prophetic voices in the country today, are Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce. They have travelled to every state, praying and interceding for that state with people in power in the state government. This gives me hope!
They declared over Maryland that it would be a ‘state of reversal’ and that certain laws would change there that will cause the nation to be changed. Historically Maryland was a state that ‘kept the line’. Pray that once again Maryland will be a state where ‘the line is drawn’!
Maryland is increasingly popular for vacation areas. Ocean City is a popular seashore resort. Both sides of the Chesapeake Bay are also lined with beaches and small fishing towns. It is a homogeneous area now, where formerly it was quite distinctive. Maryland is noted for its unique rural beauty and architecture, resembling the English countryside the early settlers left behind.
Look at a map of Maryland and trace your finger around the borders of the state while you pray for her revival and return to Jesus!
