Many charities have needs above and beyond the need for money. Some need food donations, some clothing. Some need your time. I can tell you first hand that you will feel better about yourself, and you will be enriched by the people you help as you volunteer.

For starters, check in your local area for homeless missions. Our Women’s Group saves plastic grocery bags and crochets them into mats to keep under bedrolls to keep them dry.
