Donna here…Jason and Laura are great friends of ours! He is a guest blogger today. His post is pertinent as we move forward in finding a ‘new normal’ interacting with each other. …This past Sunday as I sat and scrolled through many pastor friends and churches on Facebook I saw a recurring theme…it was as if we had all copied each other’s notes…and it was this…THIS IS THE NEW NORMAL!My friends when I kept hearing this over and over again my spirit kept saying inside NO ITS NOT! NO ITS NOT! I don’t believe this is the new normal! It is abnormal to live in fear! It is abnormal not to have fellowship with other believes, it is abnormal not to lay hands on the sick and they recover. I had even heard a leading expert say: “We may never shake hands ever again.” What about the right hand of fellowship? The Bible says we need to use wisdom and discernment…and we need to submit to the authorities over us so are doing the right thing but we need to go back to “normal” when this is over. Life before covid-19 was normal. What we are making life out to be now is abnormal! Be normal! Live free, not in fear!
