Hi Friends, We are nearing the end of Dr. Daniel’s expose on Islam. We are on the 22nd day of the 30 days of Ramadan. Please continue to pray for Muslim people, especially students. Since they are far from home, in a different environment, there are opportunities to see their religion from a different prospective. Now, here’s Dr. Daniel Shayesteh.

The God of Islam does not know that an unsaved person is unable to have heavenly deeds

A true God never asks a fallen and sinful person, who is not spiritually saved and is not confident about his afterlife, to perform good and heavenly deeds. No person can produce heavenly deeds without becoming heavenly first. With heavenly identity only are we able to produce heavenly deeds. Rumi, a 13th Century Middle Eastern poet and philosopher, likens mankind to a flute, a reed cut off from its root, that is dry and lifeless, always complains of the pain of separation from its root. It will always remain lifeless, crying and bringing tears into eyes unless it is returned to its original root and given life. Mankind is the same. He was cut off from his or her original state with God and is now far from God in a spiritually ungodly situation. Logically, ungodliness never produces godly fruits. He or she must first be freed from ungodliness, from the kingdom of Satan, and brought into the Kingdom of heaven in order to have heavenly identity and be able to produce heavenly deeds. Man has fallen and is in the bondage of the kingdom of Satan. A person under the rule of Satan is unable to perform any good deed that can satisfy the heart of God. Because Satan does believe in any pure and good deed, and therefore has disqualified man to perform righteous deeds. Secondly, God’s first concern is for man’s life but not his deed. God must first save man from the bondage of Satan, unite him with Himself and establish him with a heavenly identity and then expect him to think, speak and act righteously. No one can have a good deed unless he or she is saved. The Gospel of Jesus Christ beautifully describes the process of this spiritual newness. I am sure that Rumi or Hafiz, another Iranian ancient poet, had read the Gospel, realized Muhammad’s misunderstanding of God and humanity, and therefore expressed their views in poems which are serious challenges to Islam’s doctrine and philosophy. When you compare the Gospel with the Quran, you realize as if Allah is unable to understand that he should not ask an unsaved or unrighteous man to act righteous.

Allah’s authority is questionable because of the uncertainty of his followers

Muslims believe that Allah is almighty and all-knowing. If this is the case, why then doesn’t Allah bring his followers out of spiritual uncertainty in life on earth? If Satan works so hard and separates people from Allah, is Allah not more powerful than Satan in order to save his followers from the uncertainty that Satan has brought to them? From the verses of the Qur’an we find that Allah did not even give confidence to his own beloved Muhammad about his future, but rather terrified him and his followers lest their righteous deeds be less than their evil deeds and cause them to remain in hell forever. The justice of the God of Islam is also called questionable when he leaves his followers uncertain about the future since true justice is a shelter for people from any insecure situation, including spiritual. If God could not reassure people, what hope would there be for life? Moses, David, Daniel, and the other prophets have assuredly stated that their names are in the Book of Life and that they have eternal life. Why? Because the God of the Bible is able to destroy the devil’s uncertainty in His followers’ lives. The Gospel also says that Jesus Christ is in heaven and that his followers also do belong to heaven one hundred percent. Why doesn’t the Qur’an give such a hundred percent confidence to Muhammad and his companions? Because the god of the Qur’an is not real. Even a compassionate mother or father does not leave a good and loyal child in trouble. The god of Islam calls himself kind and compassionate but acts less than a father or mother leaving his followers in a terrible duality about their future. On the other hand, if people have become Muslims and made peace with Allah, why does Allah tell them that they are still likely to stay in hell forever? What kind of peace is this that may bring eternal loss for Allah’s followers? Why is Allah not content like the true God to make peace with his followers 100% on earth so that they can experience the joy of eternal confidence and happiness now? You see that Allah’s authenticity is also doubtful if we evaluate his deeds from the angle of salvation.

The God of Islam is a bad role model for family Allah calls his religion or path perfect, but through the Qur’an he works as a perfect enemy of comfort, peace and good morals in the family. The family moral in Muslim societies would be totally ruined if many Muslims did not give a brake to the family instructions of the Quran and
