It’s Really Happening!

Job 8:7 NIV:

Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be. Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. And though thy beginning was small, yet thine end shall be very great.

Well, it appears that my dream of having a book published is finally happening! I have never been on the inside track of this kind of a process, so I thought I would share some of it with you, my readers. It has been a learning process for me!

First, it will take longer than you expect it to!

Second, it will take more work than you want it to.

Third, you will learn from it a lot of things you did not know before!

Bottom line, for me, right now, I am in the editing process. This means that my ‘raw’ manuscript that I sent to the publisher the beginning of October, has been edited by the professionals. It is back in my hands for my perusal and acceptance or rejection of the 188 pages of my text. I will return it to them when I am done and the publishers will give it another ‘once over.’

This will be the tedious and time consuming part. I may be using either guest writers for this blog, or re-using earlier blogs. I have actually been doing this for nine months now, so I do have some to fall back on. Please stay the course with me as we walk this path together. Sooner or later, there will be a new book in Amazon books, and other distributers as well.

So, the devotional book; “Daily Gems to Spark Your Spirit” should be coming to bookstores early next spring, if everything goes as expected.

Thank You to all my faithful readers! Please stick with this blog, I do have some bigger plans once the book is in print! I would really enjoy hearing from you!

Donna, Praise God you have a book coming out in the spring. I would like a personal signed copy after I purchase. That is truly a blessing.
