While the world was watching football games, while we were concerned about getting the vaccine to save lives from the pandemic, many more babies were murdered in their mommy’s tummy’s! When the Lord said, “thou shall not murder”, He meant it. There is a very high price on our civilization when we disregard what the Creator of the Universe, God Almighty commands!
On a designated Sunday every January, there is a ‘Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.’ For most people it went unnoticed as we are so caught up in the activities of the day. Thank the Lord there is a foundation that seeks to always keep the pro-life agenda in front of us…it is “Options Women’s Center” on Wyoming Avenue in Scranton.
In the mail I received from them, they remind us that ‘YOU are the pinnacle of His own self-expression. And this includes everyone around us, and each human on the planet.”
Our Creator has made each life a ‘one of a kind original, reflecting His own image, and for His own purpose, to bring Himself glory! No matter color or gender, nationality, strength or economic stature, and of course that includes the unborn.
Each day in NEPA women wake up believing that abortion is the only solution to an unplanned pregnancy.
At Women’s Options Center their goal is to reach these women by providing a pregnancy test and an ultrasound exam, along with options consultation-at no cost! Often when moms see that ultra-sound, with a heart beat and fingers and toes, they realize this is a real human being, they are stopped in their tracks and re-think their decision to abort!
Options volunteers come alongside the woman with compassion during this crisis, affirming life, offering help and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ!
By walking with each woman for the long term, providing baby clothing and supplies, parenting and life skills education, referrals for resources and more, they are able to encourage decisions for life!
